A crazy thing I have noticed down here is that people have no problem going to another state. I can't tell you how many times I have talked to people who drive to New Orleans (3 hours) or Tupelo (2 1/2 hours) or even Atlanta or Memphis (4 hours) for the craziest things. At my dermatologist office I was chatting with a woman from New Orleans. She drives to Laurel from New Orleans to go to the stinking dermatologist. I was chatting with a guy who lives in my apartment complex and he has driven to Atlanta to go to church with his parents. Crazy, crazy, crazy.
The weather is crazy. The other day it was 78 and today it was 47. It doesn't matter to me, because I am stuck in my chair. lol
In Ohio it was -6 this morning, so my mom asked me to ask how much a one bedroom apartment is here. Ethan was so excited that he ran up to the office and asked. I told him not to hold his breath, though. Her husband is convinced that Mississippi is bug and snake ridden and refuses to even consider it.
Ah well... at least I am not freezing my butt off.

That's funny, cause where I'm at, people don't usually go very far. I can't imagine living my whole life barely knowing what's past the next town. Lots of people down here don't.
